Hello World!
So today, I had the opportunity to have lunch with my mom. I asked her where she wanted to eat and the first thing that came to her mind was the The Green Field Churrasco in Azusa. It is an awesome Brazilian-style BBQ restaurant. For $14.95, you can have an unlimited (yes, I said unlimited) amount of meat. From beef ribs to skirt steak, this place is meant for any person who wants to get down and binge on meat. It’s the perfect meal if you are in the mood to eat a wide assortment of meats. They do have a buffet where you can get sides as well including mashed potatoes, salads, fruit, cheese, and bread. Though the main entrĂ©e is the meat.
My mom and I talked about family matters that we felt that needed to address. We mostly discussed our financial situation as well as the roles we should all be playing in the family. We both vented and had a great lunch as I felt that we both had to get some stuff off of our chest. Then I went to Wal-Mart to buy the usual stuff. I realize that the older I get, the more frugile I am becoming. I don’t mind, I am not one to go out on shopping sprees. Saving money is my game and I enjoy playing it.
Well I’m off to work on my social networking site. I am getting the registration form done today and I will keep you guys posted when at least that part of the site is ready to go. Until then, peace out!

So my 25th Birthday was this past Tuesday. I was able to get all my work done early and was able to get out of the office by 2pm. It’s always a good feeling when you finish early, but I just wanted to meet up with my family and friends.
I met up with some family members at Mi Pueblita which is my favorite Mexican Food joint here in Upland. Check it out if you’re in the area some time. They make the best Tortas that I have ever had.
In the evening I had a dinner at my house where my mom made Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, which is one of my personal favs. I got some pretty cool gifts. My awesome girlfriend got me a boxful of cookies from Mrs. Fields and fricking concert tickets to go see MSTRKRFT at the Glasshouse on September 30th. I am beyond stoked I must say and she completely caught me off-guard with those tickets. There is nothing better than getting a completely unexpected surprise. Sammy got me an awesome Dodgers hoodie to add to my collection and that pretty much covers all of my gifts.
I am not one to ask for many gifts since I am not into material things. However, it’s everyone’s company that I love the most. We were up playing Bullshit and Rummy until 3:30am. It was good times.
As far as the rest of the week is concerned, I am currently in the early development stages of a PHP/MySQL-based social website which is my attempt to simulate the whole “Facebook” and “MySpace” feel. It’s mostly for my knowledge as I have paired up with an old college buddy to work on the project. I will try to keep you guys posted on the project as the weeks progress, but until then, I will keep you on the edge of your seat….not really.
I’m headed down to the mall to grab an engagement gift for my best friend that is getting married in December. Hurray for being off during the week,
See ya later!

So last weekend I got an invitation to test out the upcoming new World of Warcraft expansion. I was hesitant at first due to the fact that I did not want to do any of the new quests. The idea of having to grind twice on my character just didn’t sound too appealing.
Then as I was registering I read the part that I can create 3 level 80 characters. So I said to myself, why not? I created a level 80 Rogue to test out the new talents and a level 80 Death Knight. I have no clue how to play the Death Knight class, but from the looks of some of the spells that I was able to use, I can see how versatile the class can be.
I can go on and on about the game and its changes, but I don’t want to spoil too much fun for the people that actually read this thing. However, I will leave you with a screenie of one of the new instances, Utgarde Keep:

Well, I’m off to play WoW. My guild is running Mount Hyjal and from the looks of it, I may get a spot in there to fight Archimonde. Let’s hope my T6 Helm drops.
Until then, stay fresh and Go Dodgers!

Ahoy avid Internet browsers and welcome to my corner of the internets. I have finally gone ahead and created a blog. Though, I am not quite sure how often I will update this, I will definitely do my best to do so.
I have finally gone ahead and purchased bert0.com as my new domain. I feel that this is a great start for me to get into Web Development. I am currently working on a Dodgers-related PHP/MySQL website. The site will be your prototypical sports team site with the obligatory statistics, rosters, and rants about the Los Angeles Dodgers.
However, I have a lot of things to do to get this thing up and running. I will end the day with a list of Artists/songs to check out in your free time:
MSTRKRFT- Remixes:

A new band that I stumbled upon about two months ago. I heard their song Work On You which caused me to believe that it was Daft Punk. Suffice to say, it’s MSTRKRFT which consists of one of the former member from Death From Above 1979.
As I Lay Dying- An Ocean Between Us:

This is metalcore at its finest. If you are into bands such as Killswitch Engage, It Dies Today, and Unearth, you should definitely give this San Diego-based band a try.
That is all kids! Cya around next time!
